Fun Underwater Games For Kids

Having a pool party for kids can get a little boring if there are no fun activities for them to do which is why it is very important to think of games. Now some really great underwater games would be good for these types of parties because these types of games are really fun. Of course one of the most popular game among kids would be the diving for an object at the bottom of the pool. Now the objective of the game is to simply retrieve the item that was tossed into the pool before the others would. Since this is technically a race, the first one who gets the item and brings it to the surface wins.

Now another old game that many kids would play would be holding the breath under the water. Basically, the participants would just have to go down underwater and just hold their breaths. Now the one who is able to hold his breath the longest time will be the winner.

One very interesting game that was inspired by the synchronized swimmers would actually be the handstand contest. Now the rules to this game are very simple as the only thing that the participants would have to do would be to hold a handstand while half their bodies are in the pool. Once their legs go down, then it is game over and the last one standing wins the match.

Now one extremely entertaining and not to mention long game for the kids to play would be underwater tag. Now tag is actually a very common game that most kids would know about because a lot of them would play it. Tag is where a bunch of participants would select an it and the it has to tag someone else in order to transfer his status to the other person but he has to do this before anyone reaches the safe zone.

Playing tag in the pool actually is no different but it is actually much harder to do now because of the environment one is playing in. Now instead of a field wherein one can run around, one will now be swimming instead. Now just like in normal tag, there would be an it and a safe zone for the runners to hide.

Now one of the most interesting games in the list is the dive for treasure game. Basically, one will be throwing a number of objects into the bottom of the pool wherein each item has a corresponding number of points. Based on the items that the participants collected, the one with the most number of points will win.

So basically, those are some great ideas for some pool party games. Now these games were designed to be played under the water for the sole purpose of being more challenging to the participants. Of course the more challenging the games are, then the more fun the participants would be having.
